"Matt has done a great job on our garage conversion and we are really pleased with the end result. From the outside you would never tell it used to be a garage as the bricks match well and the window is just like the others we have. The inside is finished to a good standard and is exactly what we wanted. Matt was punctual and personable and we would definitely recommend him."

Easily extend your home
Garage conversions are fast gaining popularity — why? Because so many of us are realising that we rarely use our garage space for storing our cars and they can add more value as habitable rooms. A garage conversion could, therefore, be one of the most cost effective and simplest ways to extend your home, without actually increasing its footprint.

Add 20% in value to your home
Looking to increase your home's value? A 2025 study by Checkatrade found that a garage conversion can add up to 20% to your home’s value. With significantly lower costs and quicker turnaround times compared to a full extension, it’s no surprise garage conversions have become the number one choice for homeowners looking to expand their living space.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need planning permission for a Garage Conversion?
For Garage Conversions, it's unlikely. Most integral garage conversions fall under Permitted Development which means there is no need to make a planning application. External conversions only usually require permission or change of use when the space is being converted into an self-contained living space like an annex or AirBnB. It's also a good idea to review your local covenants.
Do I need to contact Building Control?
Nope! We have a relationship with a private building control regulator and deal with everything.
My requirements don't fit neatly into a specific service, what should I do?
Give us a call! Most jobs are not simple pre-packaged products and require certain considerations or compromises. The best thing to do is arrange a quote!
Will the bricks match?
Most of the time, our partners are able to source the exact bricks used on your home — and if not, they'll find a very close match in colour and texture. The most noticeable difference tends to come down to aging. New bricks and grout will naturally look fresher for a while. Repointing the rest of your frontage can be a great short-term solution to help blend the old and new as the materials settle and weather over time.
Do you do External Garage Conversions?
Yes, we do external and integral conversions.
Do you do Half Garage Conversions?
Yes, if you want to retain some garage space for storage this can be the perfect solution!
